Success is always upstream. Stay on top when failure try to pull you down, and you'll win. How to maintain at the top? Where to get the strength? "For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit" Romans 14:17 When we are doing right things and always rejoice for everything happen around us, it will keep us strong from any obstacles because success is by design.
Everyone has guilt in their nature. Why we say so? We are so feeble and always mourn for downs. When things do not go on as the way as we wish, we blame ourselves for being foolish and carry the burden on our shoulder.Nothing destroy a soul faster than guilt as stated in Psalms 38: 4-8 But as the children of God, God forgives completely when we confess and repent as Jesus has died for us on the cross, his precious blood cleanse away our sins and we can have eternal life in heaven.
Accept what cannot be changed as it had happened in our life. There is no "Rewind" button as found in the dvd player's remote control. So why should we weep and continue to mourn as it will not return to us anymore? Play it down and pray it up when we are in the harsh time. Remember that pain is inevitable but misery is optional. Forget the past and continue to move on. Don't let the past hunt you from live out a successful life and commit our way to God. Trust him and He shall bring your sorrows to pass. Focus on what's left but not what's lost. Appreciate everything that had remain in your life such as family, people that you love, friends who always by your side although they knew your pattern very well >< etc. Do not fall into depression of people who had left you because they have already left, you can't do anything to beg them stay at your side. Try to turn around and see who's at your side, you'll find things become more beautiful.
Grudges are usually come from what people done to you. When you dumped by your lover, you will feel the world is going to be an end. When you are being betrayed by your close friends, you will feel there is no trust in this world. And thus, you become more pessimistic. Resentment never hurt other person, it only hurts you because you take people's mistake to punish and avenge yourselves. So friends, when you hated someone very much, try to take a deep deep breath and speak after 30 seconds. You'll find out this is not a big deal anymore :)
Action follows our beliefs and mindsets. When we are in downs, rejoicing in hope and patient in tribulation. Pick up a book at your book shelf, maybe you'll find something new that you never realize and comprehend before this. Work on it after this and you will find your horizon is expanding.
Faith is like electricity, we can't see it but we can feel the light. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world-faith. Watched World Invasion: The Battle of Los Angelas with my boyfriend last night and last scene was still vividly in my mind. The staff sarjan and the remaining marines are so brave and faith in themselves that they can kill the aliens although they knew it was hard previously. With faith in us, there is nothing that we cannot do. Do you agree with this? Increase our faith ! Embrace the perspectives of God because doubt comes from considering circumstances while FAITH comes from considering Jesus. Actually, this phrase has touch my heart. I've been so long never put my faith in God and doing things in my own way and yet God never forsaken me. He always show me his greatness and grace in my life when I always in need. Praise Lord and now I learn to rely on God more :))
One of the most wonderful things in this world is to love and to be loved. Without love, this world only have misery, chaos and hatred. Human become ugly although they are pretty in their outlook with no love. The poorest man in world is a man that cannot love. You can giving without loving but you cannot loving without giving. Give a stranger a grin when you step into the lift, give a help to your friend, offer a lunch to a friend that you have never meet him for a long time, say THANK YOU to the cleaner that she used to sweep the corridor of your apartment.. Heart people that you love and you'll find out this world is amazing because love never fails and it is the most important element in this world that every people need it. Jesus love us to the end and he never grumble to God why he was being sent to be crucified on the cross, died for us and wash away our sins. You may questioned that why he did that for us and the only answer is JESUS LOVE US! He loves you and even the prisoners. So when you find out it is hard to fall in love with people again, don't forget that love of God never fade.
